Sram suggest twenty hours shifting battery life on the rear derailleur, in other words enough juice for over 620 miles under typical shifting use, charging in the included cradle takes just one hour. The shift-brake lever takes one CR2032 lithium cell which should provide two years of battery life. Sram have taken a connected approach to all AXS lines meaning that you can pair any of the lever buttons with any other component within the AXS range.
